The white eyes of the tiger 👀 People wonder why sharks eyes turn white & often claim it means they are about to attack. This is not necessarily true. They white you see is an inner eyelid called the nictitating membrane that they close in order to protect their eye when they get close to something, for example, the boat here. While they may do this when getting close to their prey to protect their eyes while hunting, they do it when getting near pretty much anything. 🦈 #sharkdiving #sharkdiver
