In 1951, Kathryn Beaumont starred in Alice in Wonderland, providing both the voice and live action reference for the animators. To promote the film, Disney produced Operation Wonderland for the Ford Star Revue. In the eleven minute short, Walt Disney takes opera singer James Melton around the studio on his miniature railroad to see how the film was made. We also get to meet Kathryn herself.
