Babylon in the Bible was a site of humanity’s first rebellion against God. They were responsible for the Tower of Babel and they’re a symbol of the corruption that exists in the book of Revelation. If you didn’t know, King Nebuchadnezzar also erected a giant golden statue of himself and wanted to be worshipped.
