There are four native fish found along the river in the park. They include Virgin spinedace (Lepidomeda mollispinis), flannelmouth sucker (Catostomus latipinnis), desert sucker (Catostomus clarki), and speckled dace (Rhinichthys osculus) While the fish in this video are hard to positively identify, we think that they are speckled dace based on their size and color. The speckled dace is part of the minnow family. It is found in freshwater across North America. Due to the Virgin River being a Wild
