The Congress and AIMIM MP Asaduddin Owaisi slammed the Prime Minister over his remark that the misuse of Waqf land forced young Muslim boys into doing menial jobs.

AIMIM chief Owaisi accused the PM of using Waqf properties to benefit the land mafia and questioned his support for the poor.

The petition was filed by senior advocate Mahfooz Ahsan Nazki on behalf of the YSRCP and the case is expected to be taken up on Tuesday, a party spokesman said.
