In an update to their Spotify bio, viral AI "band" the Velvet Sundown call themselves an "ongoing artistic provocation."

Remember The Velvet Sundown, that new Spotify group that people accused of being AI-generated? Welp, it turns out it's AI-generated. Or at least partly. Over the weekend, the band – which currently has over a million monthly listeners on Spotify – updated its "About" page to address its use of artificial intelligence.
