Jackson, 29, hit .226 with 10 homers in 44 games for Triple-A Scranton/Wilkes-Barre this season. He made his major league debut with Atlanta in 2019 and also has played for Miami and Milwaukee.

The New York Yankees announced Sunday they traded veteran catcher Alex Jackson to the Baltimore Orioles. In return, the Bronx Bombers received international bonus pool money and a player to be named later. For the Orioles, Jackson provides depth behind the plate with Gary Sánchez heading to the 10-day injured list.
