Netherlands great Vivianne Miedema's 100th goal in international soccer has been key to a 3-0 win over debut-making Wales at the Women's European Championship in Lucerne.

Wales' women were beaten 3-0 by Netherlands on their first ever appearance at a major tournament. According to UEFA figures, 3,800 Welsh fans made the trip to Lucerne to soak in the atmosphere, a figure seven times bigger than the previous record for travelling fans.
