Daron Payne was ejected from the Washington Commanders' blowout 44-22 loss to Detroit early on Sunday afternoon after he punched Lions wideout Amon-Ra St. Brown suddenly in the facemask.

The NFL announced on Monday that Payne has been suspended one game without pay for punching Lions receiver Amon-Ra St. Brown in the second quarter of Sunday's game.
