The second game of Monday’s split doubleheader between the Chicago Cubs and Milwaukee Brewers was postponed because of the threat of storms.

The Chicago Cubs postponed their game against the Milwaukee Brewers at Wrigley Field Monday evening due to storms pounding through the area. The game had been set to start at 7:05 p.m.

To twist the knife, the Brewers found themselves in an almost identical situation in the eighth inning, albeit against a less established pitcher. They squeezed a four-run rally out of Cubs reliever Gavin Hollowell’s three consecutive one-out walks.
