Earlier this week, U.S. Transportation Secretary Sean Duffy announced that he was ordering a 10% cut in flights at 40 major airports, including Boston’s Logan International Airport, due to air traffic control staffing shortages caused by the federal government shutdown.

Expectations were high for star Boston Celtics forward Jaylen Brown heading into the NBA's 2025-26 regular season, and for good reason. With his costar on the wing, Jayson Tatum, out for much if not all of the coming campaign, a lot of the weight of what Tatum produced would fall on Brown's shoulders.
