Aaron Rodgers may not want to pack his bags to leave New York just yet. According to The Athletic’s Dianna Russini on Friday, the New York Giants are “shifting their interest to Aaron Rodgers” after Matthew Stafford and the Los Angeles Rams agreed to a new contract.

Rodgers is still technically on the Jets roster. But it has been confirmed the team and player will go in their separate directions. New York's front office is just working through the specifics of how Rodgers will be let go and general manager Darren Mougey indicated it will be a post-June 1 designation.
