Inspectors detected seven cases of bird flu in poultry during routine inspections at live bird markets in the Bronx, Brooklyn and Queens.

Catherine Didesidero Sierra, who has lived in her home for over 10 years, described the incidents as a terrifying violation of her family’s safety.
