Talking to reporters outside the White House on Friday afternoon, President Donald Trump claimed that Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky was asking to return to the White House “right now,” presumably to continue their earlier meeting.

He also called Zelensky "very brave". Trump was speaking after talks with UK Prime Minister Sir Keir Starmer about ending the war between Ukraine and Russia. He predicted a "very good meeting" with Zelensky on Friday,

Ukraine's president traveled to Washington with hopes of a new deal and a boost in support in its war against Russian invaders. Instead, he was asked to leave the White House. Both President Trump and President Zelenzky have responded in separate interviews.
