Afghan Taliban spokesperson Zabihullah Mujahid has said that Pakistani forces have once again opened fire on Spin Boldak amid the ongoing peace talks.

In a television interview, Asif claimed that India had “penetrated” the Afghan Taliban leadership. That, he insisted, was the reason for the escalation in tensions between Pakistan and Afghanistan.

A peace summit hanging by a thread. Just hours before Pakistani and Afghan officials are due to meet in Turkey, Pakistan’s Defence Minister Khawaja Asif set off alarm bells with a startling “War will happen” threat against the Taliban government.

Pakistan’s decision follows a broader crackdown launched in early October, when the government declared that all undocumented Afghan nationals would be deported “as soon as possible.”

Talking to the media, Taliban spokesperson Zabihullah Mujahid alleged that American drones are flying into Afghan airspace through Pakistani territory.
