Mexico defeated the United States by a 2-1 score to win back to back Gold Cup titles. Mexico bounced back from an early goal to be the better team in 90 minutes and get a deserved victory to win their 10th edition of the Gold Cup.

The U.S. men's national team made a run to the Gold Cup final on Sunday despite not having its best squad available. But that won't have head coach Mauricio Pochettino feeling any better about the 2-1 loss to rival Mexico. And one no-call, in particular, will haunt the USMNT into months ahead.

The Americans grabbed an early lead, but Mexico responded and then scored the winner in the 77th minute to prevail, 2-1, at raucous NRG Stadium.
