Los Angeles had a foggy Veterans Day, with a Dense Fog Advisory in effect until 9 AM. The city expected partly sunny skies post-fog, with a high near 80. Showers were likely later in the week with temperatures dipping to the mid-60s.

Veterans Day observances will be held throughout Los Angeles County Tuesday with Pasadena using its ceremony to honor the late Medal of Honor recipient U.S. Army Lt. Col. Raymond G. Harvey, who lived in Pasadena.
