A week after shocking mass shooting outside River North lounge, links to city’s worst gang feud have surfaced again.

A crowd was said to be leaving Artis Lounge on Chicago Avenue following an album release party for rapper Mello Buckzz when three shooters opened fire.

Four people were killed and 14 others wounded in a mass shooting late Wednesday night in Chicago’s River North neighborhood. A dark-colored vehicle drove by and someone inside opened fire on a crowd near the 300 block of West Chicago Avenue around 11 p.m., police said. No arrests have been made as detectives continue to investigate.

The mass shooting in River North that claimed four lives and injured 14 others was the start of a violent Fourth of July weekend in Chicago. The latest: There were at least three mass shootings in Chicago from Wednesday to Saturday night.

The ages of the victims range from 16 to 52.
