Trump held a meeting with United Kingdom Prime Minister Keir Starmer at the White House during which they discussed Ukraine, tariffs and the relationship between the two countries. The president again was asked to speak about concerns that consumers will pay the price of tariffs on foreign goods.

President Donald Trump said Thursday the rare-earth minerals agreement would benefit both the U.S. and Ukraine and would provide resources that "we need for our country."
