DETROIT -- Jared Goff’s three turnovers in the first half have the Detroit Lions fighting for their lives. The Washington Commanders lead 31-21 heading into the half, with Ford Field in a state of shock with 30 minutes to go and a trip back to the NFC title game on the line.

Lions starting cornerback Amik Robertson was ruled out of the team NFC's divisional round playoff game against the Commanders on Saturday night after suffering an elbow injury early in the opening quarter.

Quan Martin intercepted Jared Goff and returned it 40 yards for a touchdown with 5:25 left in the second quarter of the divisional playoff game at Ford Field in Detroit. On the return, Goff was knocked to the ground by Washington linebacker Frankie Luvu, whose helmet struck the lower part of Goff’s facemask.

After throwing a pick-six that extended Washington's lead to 24-14, Goff was lit up by Frankie Luvu during the return. The hit Goff sustained was to the head and neck area, likely leading to an evaluation for a concussion.
