The WNBA held its annual All-Star Game on Saturday night in Indianapolis, Indiana's Gainbridge Fieldhouse. Team Napheesa Collier came away with a dominant 151-131 win over Team Caitlin Clark, with Collier winning All-Star Game MVP with a record 36 points, while Clark missed the game to injury.
Reese's case is strong. As the outlet noted, the MVP award rarely goes to a true guard — the last time that happened was 2019 when Elena Delle Donne won — and Reese has the total stat score to make a case for herself. Reese, who is averaging 18.8 points, 12.8 boards and 3.6 assists, is sixth in the league based on stat score.
