Prime Minister Narendra Modi met Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi today at his residence, 7 Lok Kalyan Marg, in New Delhi, as India-China tensions continue to thaw.

India and China should view each other as "partners" rather than "adversaries or threats", Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi said on Monday, as he arrived for a two-day visit to Delhi.

Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi visited New Delhi on August 18 and 19 during which he held extensive talks with NSA Ajit Doval and External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar.

PM Modi noted improved India-China relations since his meeting with Xi, anticipating further progress at the SCO Summit. NSA Doval and Foreign Minister Wang Yi discussed border stability and bilateral ties with Wang Yi.
