Elon Musk is once again weighing in on President Donald Trump and the handling of the Jeffrey Epstein case. See the latest comments.
In response to Trump calling the matter the "Epstein Hoax," Musk mockingly wrote, "Wow, amazing that Epstein 'killed himself' and Ghislaine is in federal prison for a hoax," referring to former Epstein associate Ghislaine Maxwell who is serving a 20-year prison term for aiding Epstein in his sexual abuse of underage girls.
Elon Musk has weighed back into the Donald Trump and Jeffrey Epstein drama he helped create with a string of spicy social media posts. On Thursday, the president was pulled back into the Epstein saga after a Wall Street Journal article claimed Trump once sent the sex offender a letter including a drawing of a naked woman.
The fallout between the president and the rocket maker’s billionaire founder threatened the company’s multibillion-dollar agreements with the government.
Musk also targeted Trump directly, referring to his flights on Epstein’s private jet, nicknamed the “ Lolita Express ,” a reference to a 12-year-old character in Vladimir Nabokov’s 1955 novel Lolita. The protagonist, Humbert Humbert, becomes obsessed with the child.
