Eight years on from the release of Hollow Knight, the highly anticipated sequel is finally upon us. Silksong launches on September 4, 2025. Team Cherry confirmed the news after years of intrigue, speculation, and more than enough ‘silkposts’ to drown the community.

"Play as Hornet, princess-protector of Hallownest, and adventure through a whole new kingdom ruled by silk and song!" reads the official description.

Unfortunately, this only added to the sense of disappointment once we finally got to play the game and found it to be… fine.
