Since the report of the Cincinnati Bengals and Trey Hendrickson resuming talks about a possible contract extension, there really hasn’t been much else to report. There hasn’t been any real progress reported for the two sides to come to an agreement.

Appearing on ESPN this weekend, Jeremy Fowler reported that talks between Hendrickson and the Bengals are “not any further along” despite the lines of communication being back open. Prior reporting suggested the Bengals and Hendrickson were back talking again. Hendrickson’s appearance in Cincinnati lately backed that idea up.
