Footage of a Peregrine falcon attacking a pelican to protect their babies has the internet struggling to catch its breath.

The pelican was flying with its squadron — a name for a group of pelicans — when it became tangled in a power line.

An injured pelican is now back in the wilderness after being treated by Calgary Wildlife, the organization says.
