A storm system is expected to produce severe thunderstorms, tornadoes and damaging wind gusts up to 70 mph next week.

In an unusually early step, the National Weather Service Storm Prediction Center has issued a Level 3 out of 5 Enhanced risk for Tuesday.

Severe storms that could produce strong winds, damaging hail and even tornadoes are forecast to begin next week in Dallas. The National Weather Service’s Fort Worth office said isolated storms are expected to begin Monday evening before severe storms move across North Texas on Tuesday.
