The Utah Mammoth landed one of the marquee events of the NHL season, the team and league announced Wednesday afternoon at Rice-Eccles Stadium.
For the first time since 2014, the NHL is allowing its players to compete in the Olympics. Four Utah Mammoth players were selected to represent their respective countries in Milan next month. After being left off Team USA’s 4 Nations Face-Off roster last winter, Mammoth captain Clayton Keller made it clear that he should have been there.

Utah Mammoth’s JJ Peterka to represent Germany at 2026 Winter Olympics
SALT LAKE CITY ( ABC4) — Utah Mammoth forward, JJ Peterka, will represent Team Germany at the 2026 Winter Olympics. Peterka is the fourth Mammoth player that will play in the Olympics. Clayton Keller will play for Team USA, Karel Vejmelka will represent the Czech National Team, and Olli Maata will play for Finland.
