Paris staged an early Eiffel Tower fireworks and drone show, reserving Bastille Day to commemorate the 2016 Nice attack and its 86 victims.

On Tuesday France celebrates Bastille Day, its national fête marking the revolutionary storming of the prison of the same name in 1789. Festivities will take place across the country, including a traditional flypast and military parade along the Champs-Elysées.
