Already on Friday afternoon, Mother Nature was making her presence felt as fans were given a warning of lightning in the area just after 2:30 p.m. The weather arrived around a half hour before NASCAR Xfinity Series qualifying was set to start and was still in the area, pushing the beginning of the event past its scheduled start time.
