The Little League Baseball World Series continued Saturday in Williamsport, Pennsylvania, though Mother Nature didn't exactly cooperate.

The Little League team from Needville in Fort Bend County won its first four games in Williamsport, Pennsylvania, in 2023 before finishing fourth in the tournament. A team from Boerne also placed fourth last August.

Little League teams from around the globe entered Williamsport, aiming to become the 2025 World Series champions, and the action continues on Saturday.

The Little League World Series begins Wednesday with four games across the U.S. and international brackets. Games will be presented across ESPN, ESPN Deportes and ESPN+. Viewers can also watch with Fubo, which offers a free trial for new users.

Monday night is a big night for the boys from Fairfield. The red-hot Fairfield National Little League team is squaring off against the Midwest champions from Sioux Falls, South Dakota, in the winner’s bracket of the Little League World Series.

The Fairfield National Little League team won its opening game in Williamsport, Pa. in its Little League World Series opener Wednesday, defeating Texas 1-0.  With the victory, the Connecticut representative remains in the United States Winner's Bracket and will play against Honolulu Little League of Hawaii on Friday.

The 2025 Little League World Series will be in Williamsport, Pennsylvania from August 13-24 with 20 teams vying for the title.
