ESPYs celebrated the best teams and players from sports around the world. Teams like the Philadelphia Eagles and Oklahoma City Thunder were recognized after championship seasons, while athletes like Simone Biles were recognized for their incredible individual performances.

The ESPYS celebrated the biggest names in sports with professional athletes and humanitarians recognized for their achievements on and off the field.

Biles earned two major awards, Gilgeous-Alexander was crowned Best Male Athlete, and Oscar Robertson received the Arthur Ashe Award for Courage.

Comedian Shane Gillis hosted the awards ceremony, presented by ESPN, on Wednesday night live from The Dolby Theater in Los Angeles.
