Arsenal’s form domestically since the defeat to United had been good until recently with a home defeat to West Ham followed by a goalless draw at Nottingham Forest. They have won both Champions League games, however, and go into the two-legged round of 16 tie against PSV Eindhoven in confident mood.

PSV Eindhoven and Go Ahead Eagles switch their attention to KNVB Beker action on Wednesday night when they meet in the semi-finals. With the second and seventh-placed teams in the Eredivisie table suffering disappointing results in their most recent domestic fixtures, this is an opportunity to hand their campaign a major boost.
