Vice President Kamala Harris has razor-thin leads over former President Donald Trump in Michigan, Wisconsin and Pennsylvania, according to a new survey of the so-called “blue wall” states that could win Harris the election if she ekes out victories there.

Independent voters are a must-win for both Harris and Trump in the swing states, where polls are currently very close.

Given the recent polls and the collapse of the lead he once held over President Joe Biden, any path Donald Trump has to the White House must go through Pennsylvania — generally acknowledged as the most important swing state. Pennsylvania’s 19 electoral votes are the most among the seven top swing states.
