For the second week in a row, QB Brock Purdy accounted for five touchdowns as the 49ers outlasted the Bears 42-38 in a wild shootout on Sunday Night Football to set up a Week 18 showdown with the Seahawks for the NFC's top seed.
Now the division title and the playoff spot that comes with it will be determined when the Buccaneers and Panthers will face each other in Week 18. The Panthers are 8–8 and currently hold the top NFC South spot and a tiebreaker over the Buccaneers. But, a win by 7–9 Tampa Bay would even out the tiebreaker to advance the Bucs to the playoffs.

NFL announces date, time for massive 49ers-Seahawks NFC showdown
After the 49ers' thrilling 42-38 win over the Chicago Bears on Sunday night, the NFL announced its Week 18 slate and the 49ers will host the Seattle Seahawks on Saturday for a 5:00pm Pacific Time kickoff at Levi's Stadium.
San Francisco needed every second to beat Chicago on Sunday night, and now will host Seattle next Saturday night with the opportunity to clinch the NFC West and the NFC's only bye.
