Netflix has canceled a pair of first-year series, The Residence and Pulse.

Netflix has axed two of its spring originals — the medical drama “Pulse” and Shondaland murder mystery “The Residence,” TheWrap has learned. As for “No Good Deed,” the streamer has yet to make a renewal decision about the show starring Ray Romano and Lisa Kudrow.

Two Netflix original series were just axed after only one season each. The mystery comedy drama “Residence” and the medical drama “Pulse” have both been canceled, while the black comedy “No Good Deed” has been put on an indefinite pause.

The dystopian social satire garnered 60.1 million views in its first three days -- a record number -- and topped the streaming charts for the week of June 23-29. Season 3 outpaced its nearest competitor,
