Kentucky cornerback Maxwell Hairston took the podium during press availability at the NFL Scouting Combine on Thursday and promised to put on a show during athletic testing and on-field drills.

For several weeks, in-the-know draft analysts have predicted a draft rise from Kentucky defensive back Maxwell Hairston. NFL analyst Daniel Jeremiah had Hairston in his initial top-50 and ESPN's Mel Kiper predicted a surge for the SEC star.

Cornerback Maxwell Hairston missed five games last season with Kentucky because of a shoulder injury. He certainly looked healthy Friday, looked just fine Friday, posting the first 40-yard dash under 4.
