Marvel Studios is waisting no time spoiling the ending of its new summer tentpole “Thunderbolts*.” A giant billboard in Los Angeles promoting the Marvel movie got a massive facelift during the end of the film’s opening weekend as the title changed from “Thunderbolts*”

The 36th film in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, “Thunderbolts” is directed by Jake Schreier with a screenplay by Eric Pearson and Joanna Calo. “Thunderbolts” is more like “The Suicide Squad” than “The Avengers” as the movie follows a group of unconventional antiheroes who are forced to team up to take down a dangerous threat.

The sneaky asterisk in the "Thunderbolts*" title officially has meaning. On Monday, Marvel unveiled the true name of the rag-tag group of superheroes as "The New Avengers," now that the film is officially in theaters as of May 2.
