Jackson Holliday, engrossed in an 0-for-17 slump, blasted a grand slam in the second inning Wednesday to lead the Orioles over Cleveland.

Jackson Holliday hit a second-inning grand slam, Dean Kremer turned in his best start of the young season and the Baltimore Orioles routed the Cleveland Guardians 9-1 on Wednesday night. Holliday snapped an 0-for-17 drought with a drive that carried into the Baltimore bullpen in center field off Gavin Williams (1-1) with one out in the second.

Holliday blasted his second career grand slam in the second inning of Baltimore's 9-1 win over Cleveland on Wednesday, and joined Fritzie Connally (1983) and Brian Roberts (2001-03) as the only Orioles to have two of his first seven big league home runs to be grand slams.
