Protests are planned across the nation on Thursday, the anniversary of civil rights icon and Congressman John Lewis’ death. Lewis famously coined the term “good trouble” to describe nonviolent civil disobedience that challenges unjust systems.
Dozens of "Good Trouble" rallies were held throughout the country, including here locally in Rhode Island and Massachusetts.
More than a dozen 'Good Trouble' protests happened in Vermont, Northern New York
Under the banner of " Good Trouble ," thousands are gathering across the country to protest against the Trump Administration. “We’re taking action across the country to defend our democracy,” reads a statement on the Good Trouble website.
