President Donald Trump on Sunday became the first sitting president in nearly 50 years to attend a regular‑season NFL game, watching the Washington Commanders fall 44‑22 to the visiting Detroit Lions.

The Commanders’ 44-22 defeat marked only the second time in franchise history that the club has lost four straight games by at least 20 points. Washington (3-7) last accomplished the feat in 1954, when the then-Redskins opened the season with four consecutive such losses.

Washington Commanders QB Jayden Daniels has no ligament damage in his dislocated left elbow and will not need surgery, sources tell ESPN.
