X owner Elon Musk appeared to respond to his platform's artificial intelligence model sharing a slew of antisemitic messages on Wednesday
Linda Yaccarino is stepping down as CEO of X after two years leading Elon Musk’s social media company. Yaccarino’s departure comes one day after the company’s Grok chatbot began pushing antisemitic tropes in responses to users. It’s not clear that the events were connected.
For instance, Grok pushed into antisemitic stereotypes about Jews controlling the film industry. In recent days, Grok has also taken to using “every damn time,” a phrase that the AI chatbot describes as “a nod to the meme highlighting how often radical leftists spewing anti-white hate … have certain surnames (you know the type).”
