In the Broncos' 10-7 victory over the Raiders, Tillman dropped back into coverage, instead of rushing the quarterback, and capitalized on Ashton Jeanty bobbling a Geno Smith pass, tipping it up into the air. Tillman came down with it, and just like his first interception of the season, proceeded to rumble downfield for serious yardage.
Denver (7-2) also owns one of the NFL's best defenses, headlined by pass rushing aces Nik Bonitto and Jonathon Cooper. Bonitto has eight sacks this season, and Cooper has seven. Overall, the Broncos are allowing the third-fewest yards per game this season.
“Obviously, if there’s a need, you want to get it, but we feel like we’ve got all the pieces,” second-year quarterback Bo Nix said Tuesday. “Sometimes when something like that happens, it shakes things up. We’ve got something good going and we just want to keep riding this wave and finding ways to win.”
In perhaps the ugliest game of the 2025 NFL season, the Broncos defeated the Raiders 10–7 to kick off Week 10 on Thursday Night Football. Denver and Las Vegas combined for more penalties (22) than first downs (20), and the game’s leading receiver was veteran Tyler Lockett, who had five catches for 44 yards.

The Denver Broncos have played 10 of their 17-game regular-season schedule, so they're a bit past the halfway point of the season. There is no halfway point, technically, since the NFL changed the schedule from an even-numbered 16 games to the odd-numbered 17.
