A24 just stopped internet traffic with their latest announcement: they're adaptating Holly Brickley's new book, Deep Cuts! It's one of the new books that made it to the top of our must-read list, so we're basically hyperventilating after learning Saoirse Ronan and Austin Butler are starring in it!

A24's upcoming romance adaptation Deep Cuts, directed by The Iron Claw's Sean Durkin, casts Saoirse Ronan and Austin Butler as the two leads.

If anyone could make a long, drawn-out spiel about indie music that you’ve probably never heard of because it’s so underground charming, it’s Saoirse Ronan. Luckily, she’ll be the one delivering those holier-than-thou opinions in Deep Cuts,

“Deep Cuts” is Holly Brickley’s debut novel, which was published February 25. Durkin will both direct and adapt the book, with co-lead star Ronan producing. Central’s Ronald Bronstein, Eli Bush, and Josh Safdie are also producing the A24.

The A24 film will be directed by Sean Durkin (The Iron Claw, The Nest, Martha Marcy May Marlene) while Saoirse herself will also be among the producers.
