St. John’s to face Kentucky in CBS Sports Classic

The initial plan, which the Hall of Fame coach announced last spring, was for St. John’s to play at famed Rupp Arena during the 2025-26 season to honor the 30th anniversary of his 1996 NCAA championship team, and for Kentucky to return the game at Madison Square Garden (or possibly Arthur Ashe Stadium) during the 2026-27 season.
