Five years after a scandal that broke the internet, TikTok influencer Brittany Miller has finally spoken out about the time she faked having cancer.
A British influencer said that she is "deeply sorry" for lying to her friends about having cancer years ago, saying she was in a "dark place" with her mental health at the time. Brittany Miller admitted to the lie in a video posted to her TikTok account on Monday,
However, it's now been alleged that when Brittany was 21 — and just starting her influencer journey — she claimed she had been diagnosed with stage 3 gastric cancer. At the time, Brittany's friends and family are thought to have set up a crowdfunding page for financial support.
The debate began after Brittany uploaded a video in which she sought help on how to potty train her twins early. While some people were in support of her parenting decision, there are those who believed that her children were too young to begin the process.
