Now that the NFL trade deadline has passed, the Cincinnati Bengals are no longer able to make any trades for the rest of the season. Cincinnati traded linebacker Logan Wilson to the Dallas Cowboys in exchange for a seventh-round pick and opted not to move Pro Bowl defensive end Trey Hendrickson to another team.
The Cincinnati Bengals have earned some polarizing reviews for their actions at the NFL trade deadline. There’s a vocal portion of the fanbase that wanted to see the Bengals make moves as buyers while attempting to save the season, of course.

Cincinnati is on pace to have a top-10 2026 pick amidst another potentially lost season in the Joe Burrow era. He has the team rolling with Ohio State safety Caleb Downs with the eighth pick.
The Cincinnati Bengals agreed to trade linebacker Logan Wilson to the Dallas Cowboys on Nov. 4 ahead of the NFL's trade deadline at 4 p.m., according to NFL Network's Ian Rapoport. Wilson will no longer play in Cincinnati as the Bengals sit at 3-6 on their bye week.
The Bengals won’t accept any offer on Burrow, of course, just as they didn’t back before the draft when needy teams like Miami had three first-round picks. The Jets’ recent fire sale at the trade deadline to acquire those types of assets won’t move the Bengals, either.
A defensive captain for the Bengals, Wilson joins a Cowboys defense that sorely needs help and is giving up more than 30 points per game.
The Dallas Cowboys were among the rumored potential landing spots for Hendrickson. Dallas instead acquired defensive tackle Quinnen Williams from the New York Jets in exchange for a 2026 second-round draft pick, a 2027 first-rounder and defensive tackle Mazi Smith.
The Cincinnati Bengals were apparently willing to listen to cheaper-than-expected offers on Trey Hendrickson at the NFL trade deadline. Prior reporting said the Bengals were sticking to their offseason ask of at least a first-round pick .
