While this is not the only Disney film reference, the Ice Age reference was one of the most viral easter egg moments from Alien: Earth. In one of the scenes, Marcy’s brother, Hermit, recalls watching Ice Age: Continental Drift with his sister, cleverly making another Disney film part of the Alien: Earth lore.
Alien: Earth Episode 3 will air on FX and drop on Hulu and Disney Plus at 5pm PT/8pm ET on August 19. When we sat down with Alien: Earth creator and showrunner Noah Hawley, he got the memo about the one-word answer. Not only that, but the Fargo creator also expanded on that sentiment to give us a brilliant tease for what’s to come in the remaining six episodes:

The search and rescue is very reminiscent of Aliens with the marines. And, of course, the xenomorph itself brings the horror to the series.
