We LOVED this experience. I've been to a number of light shows and was pleasantly surprised by how good the lights looked. We were in a group of 12 and got General Admission tickets and the photos ar… Full review by Coastal49422133194

This was my second visit in five years. The lights are spectacular - but to my disappointment for the second time (!) they ran out of food! Not only did the canapes run out very, very quickly - but a… Full review by Nathan S

It was a spectacular place, not far from Uluru, and it's worth seeing. It's a real work of art, and the way it's made makes it wonderful. Just to walk between all these colourful lights, peaceful and… Full review by Aashild G
Do I need a park pass to attend the Field of Lights, Sounds of Silence dinner, or the Tali Wiru dinner? I am trying to work out how many days I need a pass for, we are staying for 7 days but I think we only need a 3 day pass for the days we have tours to Uluru and Kata Tjuta. Any advice appreciated. Thanks!

We did not need the pass for the Field of Lights. The bus picked us up from our accommodation and took us out and dropped us back to point of collection. e just needed the three day pass for days we drove into Uluṟu and Kata Tjuta. We didn’t do the dinners so not sure of those Sorry
Do you have to book a tour or can you drive yourself to the installation? We have a car so don’t need the bus etc.

My understanding is that you have to be in an organised group to visit the Field of Lights and cannot self drive. There are various packages that you can book and our General Admission passes were more than adequate.
Is it possible to do the sounds of silence dinner then the field of lights on one night (one trip?) Are they close to each other ? Are there frequent coaches back to the resorts or is it 1 coach per "group" or similar ?

If you have the time I would not do the camel trip to the field of lights. Because then you would miss out on the after ride drinks snd nibbles and we did enjoy that, talking more with others and the cameleers, enjoying the serenity of the farm from dusk onwards as we mingled. You get to experience the lights more if you can do the canapés and lights thing. I was disappointed with the limited time we had at the lights with the bus trip alone and wrote a separate review on how I would recommend approaching it if given the chance again You can get back in time from the camel ride to catch the bus out at 830pm to the lights I think
Are there toilets at the attraction. And if a person doesn't wish to walk to the sunrise platform area can they stay at the lights and wait

Yes there are. The bus drops you off at the viewing platform(Short walk up) overlooking the exhibition and Uluru you then walk down to the Field of lights exhibition and once finished walk along the path to where the buses pick you up from and the toilets are right there.
